Grant County, an Equal Opportunity Employer, located in Elbow Lake is currently accepting applications for the position of a full-time County Coordinator. Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree with coursework in economics, finance, political science, or related field and moderate experience in public administration, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position, under the direction of the County board, performs complex professional and administrative work coordinating a variety of administrative and management assignments as required by the County board. Prepares agendas for regular and special board meetings, assures proper notice is given, organizes background information, correspondence, and documents to accompany the agendas. Serves as the clerk to the County board. Represents the County on various boards, committees, task forces at community events and attends relevant committee meetings.

Shall serve as the Public Information Officer (PIO) for the County Board and with County departments to communicate the activities of the County Commissioners and the county to the news media and public. Main contact for County website changes and additions. Assists the County Auditor with County budgets, MCIT insurance and bonding. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required to perform this job.

The County Coordinator is a full-time, exempt, non-union position. Salary range for this position is $44.39-$61.48 per hour. Beginning pay will depend on training and experience.

Health insurance is offered with an employer contribution of up to $1600/month. Grant County offers 12 paid holidays, with excellent vacation and sick accruals.
