Navajo Tribal Utility Authority

The Navajo Tribal Utility Authority (NTUA) is accepting resumes for three positions on the NTUA Management Board. The Management Board consists of seven (7) members, all appointed by the Resources and Development Committee of the Navajo Nation Council.
The qualifications required are:
1. Four of the Directors shall be enrolled members of the Navajo Tribe, be fluent in the English language, education and experience on utility business practices and procedures highly preferred, and have demonstrated decision making experience; and
2. Four Directors shall be individuals with no less than ten years experience in business management; or
3. At least two Directors shall have experience in the management and operation of a utility business.

Ya’aa’teeh. In 1959, NTUA started out as a small water utility in Shiprock, NM. In decades since, NTUA has grown into the largest multi-utility enterprise owned and operated by an American Indian tribe. NTUA is proud of its history and celebrates its progress. As a not-for-profit enterprise of the Navajo Nation, NTUA provides electric, water, wastewater, natural gas, solar energy, and communications services.
