Pacifica Hosts Inc. seeks applicants for the following full-time position at its San Diego, CA worksite for $63,274/year: Corporate Accountant: Prepare and manage tax reporting obligations, including annual IRS 1099 and 1042 reporting. Assist senior team members in working with auditors to prepare year-end financial statements. Review and document complex customer contracts to ensure consistent application of revenue recognition policies in accordance with US GAAP, specifically ASC 606. Review and provide feedback on monthly and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP) and company policies. Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax documents and reconcile GAAP vs. tax basis adjustments to maintain compliance with relevant tax regulations. Requirements: Bachelor's (or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Education or experience must include: Managerial Accounting, Income Taxation, Financial Accounting, and Financial Management.
