Customer Service Representative-Accounting Clerk
The Borough of Lansdale has an open position for a Customer Service Representative-Accounting Clerk.
This position is responsible for performing a variety of accounting duties to include processing of
payments, processing accounts payable and receivable, updating account records, assisting with
customer service, balancing daily receipts, and verifying general ledger postings.
The minimum requirements are a high school diploma, or equivalent, plus one (1) to two (2) years’
experience performing cash transactions, providing customer service, or office administration.
Completion of course work in business administration with an emphasis in accounting plus three (3) to
four (4) years’ experience is preferred.
The Borough of Lansdale, located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, is approximately twenty-five
(25) miles north of Philadelphia. The Borough has a landmass of approximately 3 square miles and is
home to approximately 17,000 residents. In addition to its residential population, the Borough attracts
many commuters and visitors for work and play. SEPTA rail lines, a train station and a newly constructed
parking garage are located in the Borough’s downtown area. Two additional SEPTA train stations are
located outside of downtown. The Borough of Lansdale provides comprehensive services to the citizens
of Lansdale. These services include Electric Distribution, Public Works; Wastewater Treatment; Codes;
Parks and Recreation; Library and Police along with basic administrative services.
